A very thorough and professional job. Hauls away the debris from gutters. Dealing with a prompt, polite and professional young man is a rare experience.
Pool Enclosure Cleaning in Sarasota
Screen, frame, and gutters around your pool cage cleaned without damaging the mesh or stripping the paint. Restore the view, not the cost of replacement.
Not a Job for a Pressure Washer
A pool enclosure is a screen stretched over a painted aluminum frame, sitting under a roof gutter that catches everything sliding off the house. Three different materials, three different problems.
Pressure washing the screen blows holes in it. Pressure washing the frame strips the paint and leaves it bare aluminum to corrode. And the gutter on the back rim of the cage catches leaves, mold, and bird debris that has to be cleared by hand or the whole system overflows.
Done right, a cage wash uses low pressure on the screen, a careful chemical clean on the frame, and a hand-clear on the gutter. Done wrong, you're paying for new screens.
What Gets Cleaned
Screen Mesh
Algae, mold, and pollen lifted gently. The view comes back without a single hole or tear.
Aluminum Frame
Mold and oxidation cleaned off, paint stays intact, color comes back.
Cage Gutter
The trough on the back rim where debris collects, cleared by hand and rinsed. Often the dirtiest part, almost always overlooked.
Kickplates & Door Frames
The lower aluminum panels that take the brunt of splash and dirt, brought back to clean.
How a Cage Wash Goes
- Walk the enclosure.Identify the screen condition, any tears that need attention, and where the gutter is collecting the most debris.
- Hand-clear the cage gutter.Leaves, debris, and buildup pulled out by hand, then rinsed to confirm flow.
- Pre-wet plants and pool deck.Anything inside the cage gets a soaking so runoff is diluted and harmless.
- Soft wash the screen and frame.Low pressure, biodegradable solution, even coverage from top to bottom.
- Rinse and walk-through.I show you the work before I leave.

Before · After Common Questions
Will the cleaning damage my screens?
No. Pressure washers damage screens. We use low pressure and a soft wash solution that lifts the growth off the mesh without tearing it. Done correctly, your screens last longer because the algae is no longer eating them.
How often should the enclosure be cleaned?
In Florida, once a year is the right pace for most cages. Heavily shaded enclosures or screens directly under tree cover may need it more often.
Do you also clean the pool deck and pavers inside the cage?
Almost always, yes. When we clean the screens and frame, debris falls onto the floor that has to be rinsed off anyway. Surface cleaning the pavers or concrete inside the enclosure is part of finishing the job right. I'll quote it together with the cage wash.
What about the roof gutter that drains onto the cage gutter?
If the house gutter above the cage is full, the cage gutter will fill up again fast. I'll clean both if needed, usually as a package. Ask when you book.
